Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 September 2026
These terms apply when you use scopack.com and the Scopack mobile app (together, the "Service"), provided by Scopack ("Scopack", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you agree to them on that company's behalf.
1. The Service
Scopack is the client portal through which software projects are planned, quoted, delivered and supported. A project may be delivered by our own team or by an independent development partner that works through Scopack (see section 6). Through the Service you can share your project brief, review plans and quotations, pay invoices, follow tasks, exchange files and talk to the team working on your project.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and give accurate information when you sign up.
- Keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for activity on your account, including activity by team members you invite.
- Tell us straight away at info@scopack.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload or send through the Service, such as briefs, documents, files and messages. You give us permission to store, process and use that content only as needed to provide the Service and deliver your projects, including through the AI-assisted features described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the right to share the content you upload.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights through the Service;
- upload malware or content that is harmful, abusive or that you have no right to share;
- try to access accounts, projects or data that are not yours, or disrupt or overload the Service;
- copy, resell or reverse-engineer the Service.
5. Quotations, fees and payment
- The work, price and timeline for each project are set out in the quotation you approve. An approved quotation, together with these terms, forms the agreement for that project.
- Fees, including any access or onboarding fee, are shown before you pay. Invoices are payable on our website through Stripe or Razorpay, and applicable taxes are added where required.
- If a payment is overdue, we may pause work or access to paid features until it is settled.
- Refunds, if any, are handled as set out in your quotation or project agreement.
6. Projects delivered by development partners
- Some projects are delivered by independent development partners: separate businesses that use Scopack to work with their own clients. Where a partner delivers your project, the agreement for that work, including its price, payment and delivery, is between you and that partner.
- For partner projects, Scopack acts only as a platform and mediator. We are not a party to the payment between you and the partner, we do not hold or guarantee that money, and we accept no liability for it. The partner and their team contact you directly about invoices, dues and payments.
- We do not get involved in the commercial relationship between a client and a partner unless there is a dispute. If one arises, either side can ask us to step in, and we will help both sides reach a fair outcome.
- While you owe a partner money for work they have delivered, you cannot close your Scopack account until the partner confirms the dues are settled, or until we resolve a dispute about them.
- Developers who work within our own team are part of the Scopack and GoldFox organisation. For projects they deliver, we are responsible for delivering the work and for paying our team; this is not a partner arrangement.
7. Project deliverables
Ownership and licensing of the software and other deliverables we produce for you are set out in the quotation or agreement for that project. The Service itself, including its design, software and branding, remains ours.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties, such as payment processors, sign-in providers and hosting providers. Their own terms apply to your use of their services, and we are not responsible for them.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available, but it may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may improve or change features over time. If a change materially reduces what you have paid for, we will tell you in advance.
10. Suspension and closing your account
You can stop using the Service and ask us to close your account at any time, subject to section 6 where you owe a development partner money. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the Service or other users at risk; where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. Amounts already due remain payable.
11. Disclaimers
Except as promised in your quotation or project agreement, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and let you know by email or in the Service. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
