Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 September 2026
This policy explains what information Scopack ("Scopack", "we", "us") collects when you use scopack.com and the Scopack mobile app (together, the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, write to info@scopack.com.
1. Who we are
Scopack is the client portal through which our team plans, quotes, delivers and supports software projects for our clients. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your name, email address, phone number, company name and profile photo. Passwords are stored only in hashed form; we never see your password.
- Project content: project briefs and answers, requirements, plans, quotations, invoices, tasks, feedback, files and documents you upload, and messages you exchange with our team.
- Support and enquiries: what you tell us when you contact us or submit an enquiry form.
Information from sign-in providers
If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, your email address and an account identifier from that provider. If you use Apple's "Hide My Email", we receive the relay address Apple provides. We do not receive your Google or Apple password.
Payment information
Payments are made on our website or, for invoices, in the mobile app, and are processed by Stripe (including Apple Pay and Google Pay) or Razorpay. Your card or bank details go directly to the payment processor; we do not store them. We keep a record of the payment itself, such as the amount, date and transaction reference.
Information collected automatically
- Security and sign-in records: IP address, browser or device type, and the time of each sign-in, which we use to protect your account.
- Activity within the Service: when you were last active, so our team knows whether a request has been seen.
Mobile app permissions
The app asks for access to your camera, photos, microphone or files only when you choose to attach something to a project or message, and only what you select is uploaded. Face ID or Touch ID is handled entirely by your device; we never receive your biometric data. The app does not collect your location.
3. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and let you sign in securely.
- To plan, quote, deliver and support your projects, and to let you communicate with our team.
- To process payments and send receipts and invoices.
- To send you service emails and notifications, such as verification codes, project updates and onboarding reminders.
- To provide AI-assisted features, described below.
- To keep the Service secure, prevent misuse and meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. AI-assisted features
Some features use artificial intelligence to help turn your project brief into plans, scopes and tasks, and to read documents you upload. To provide these features, the relevant project content is sent to AI service providers (Anthropic, OpenAI and Google Cloud) who process it on our behalf and return the result to us. Our team reviews AI-generated material before it becomes part of your project.
5. Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only what they need to do their job:
- Microsoft, for hosting (Microsoft Azure) and for sending email (Microsoft 365).
- Stripe and Razorpay, for payments.
- Google and Apple, if you choose to sign in with them, and Apple for delivering push notifications to the app.
- Anthropic, OpenAI and Google Cloud, for the AI-assisted features described above.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a merger or sale of our business, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.
6. Where your information is stored
Your information is stored and processed on servers in the United States and India. When information is transferred between countries, we take steps to keep it protected as described in this policy.
7. How long we keep information
We keep your information for as long as your account is open and as long as needed to provide the Service. Records we must keep by law, such as invoices and payment records, are kept for the period the law requires. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal information unless we are required to keep it.
8. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords and role-based access so that people see only what they are allowed to see. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell you if a breach affects you.
9. Your choices and rights
- You can view and update your profile details in the Service at any time.
- You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete it.
- You can ask us to delete your account by writing to info@scopack.com.
- You can stop reminder emails by replying to one and asking us to stop. We will still send emails needed to run your account, such as verification codes and receipts.
Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law. We will respond to requests within 30 days.
10. Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to run the Service: to keep you signed in, to remember your session and to protect forms against misuse. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
11. Children
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
12. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let you know by email or in the Service.
